Gloucestershire First secures investment funding and lobbies in support of various project ideas, from business start ups to training support.

Current projects range from the Rural Development Programme England (RDPE) which has supported over 100 rural businesses through to ‘Gloucester Works’ which targets the needs of employers and employees in the City.

Redundancy Support Programme

The programme is designed specifically to provide individuals facing redundancy or newly redundant with the most effective tools for finding new employment. The programme offers one to one sessions to support CV Writing, job search, job application and interview skills as well as funded training packages and the opportunity to explore self employment or a change of career.
